The Staple Inn Actuarial Society

SIAS Committee

The Society is governed by a committee of fifteen members, including a Chairman, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer.

Ordinary members of the Committee are elected by postal ballot for a three year term. No member may be older than 35 years on first election to the Committee. No ordinary member may serve for more than six years in total. At least one vacancy on the Committee each year is reserved for a "younger member" who has either not completed the examinations or has done so no more than 18 months previously.
